Gulf Craft CEO Erwin Bamps was invited as one of the guest speakers at the 4th UAE Maritime Forum 2017, the UAE summit of marine and maritime Leaders. The forum was held in Abu Dhabi on the 24th of January in Abu Dhabi hosted by TASNEEF and organized by Mare Forum.

Erwin Bamps, guest speaker at the 4th UAE Maritime Forum held in Abu Dhabi
During the session about the ‘UAE, the Middle East Eldorado: Imperatives for ports, terminals, marinas, yachts, maritime tourism, energy efficiency and renewables’, Erwin Bamps discussed the status of the yachting industry in the Middle-East and made a case for a wide-ranging UAE investment in academic education programs and vocational training to serve the maritime industry. Amongst other industry opportunities, he also high-lighted the business potential that would be opened up to the industry once the UAE maritme borders would be open 24h, 7days a week.
